About Dive Land Park in Glencoe

Each year, divers have from the first weekend in April to the last weekend in October to scuba dive at Dive Land Park.

This year, the last chance to take a dip at Dive Land Park will be Friday, October 28th, through Sunday, October 30th.

Dive Land Park offers a safe, clear water quarry diving experience. It’s ideal for both seasoned divers as well as newly-certified divers.

For the more experienced scuba divers, the park does offer deep water diving for advanced training. They also offer “Discover Scuba” for non-certified divers.

According to their Facebook page, visibility generally “ranges from 20 to 70 feet and a depth of 15 feet to 150 feet.”

Plan your visit

Ready to scuba dive at Dive Land Park before the season ends?

There are scheduled night dives every third Saturday now through the end of October. There is a minimum of four divers for the dive to take place.

But even if you don’t dive, there will be live music to enjoy along with pretty views. Plus, primitive camping is available for anyone interested in staying the night for the Night Dive.

To clarify, primitive means no power at your campsite, and water is available in the shop. There are also no official bathrooms, just a port-o-john. Camping is $15 per person and includes the use of a central fire pit.

What’s more, divers and snorkelers who do camp out receive a small discount for the next day’s entry fee. Click here to find out more about scuba diving and snorkeling pricing.
