Wine connoisseurs, you don’t have to go to Napa! As it turns out, Alabama has stunning vineyards of its own. In fact, you can find six of them when you explore the North Alabama Wine Trail, found along the southern portion of the scenic Appalachian Mountains—including stops in Gadsden and beyond! Before you get packing, though, we’ll give you all the details you need to know.

Along the Alabama Wine Trail, you’ll find six unique wineries. They are:

As you can see, these are all within 50 miles of us! Attend a tour or a daily tasting. The wineries also hold cool events too, so that you can have an extra special trip.

Accommodations and Food

No need to leave the area after you visit the local wineries. You can make a weekend of it too and stay at nearby accommodations, like hotels or bed and breakfasts.

Need to soak up that wine with some grub? Some of the wineries offer food, like cheese plates at Wills Creek Winery or Tomato Tomato Pizza Club at Jules J. Berta Winery.
